Pauline Hermans

Researcher

Pauline Hermans obtained her master's degree in biomedical engineering with a specialization in biomaterials at UCLouvain in June 2023. The aim of her master's thesis was to compare the microstructural changes induced by short-term abstinence between alcohol-dependent patients and control subjects using diffusion MRI, and to highlight correlations between changes in behavioral scores and brain microstructure. She is currently working on the efficient and innovative compression of the entire human genome and on its analysis to predict disease risk scores.
