Arnould Geelhand de Merxem

Research Assistant

Arnould Geelhand has obtained his biomedical engineering degree in 2017. He did his master thesis under the supervision of the Pr. Benoit Macq (UCL) and the Pr. Bruno Dehez (UCL) on the development of a mobile phantom for MRI tumor-tracking. At the end of 2017, he joined the UserMedia/MediMedia team of the piLAB and has dived in the research in medical imaging applications, particularly for 3D image reconstruction from x-ray projections. His focus is on the implementation of solutions which combine lower dose exposure for the patient and efficient energy consumption. In this context, he is actively working on the development of the ImagX-Eco Spin-Off project.
