OpenHub - Empowerhub

March 2017 - December 2023

OpenHub is an innovation hub that specializes in prototyping and idea testing.

We help startups/starters as well as SMEs and large companies. We also encourage innovation in every way and for everyone: from students to employees, thanks to numerous qualitative partnerships with actors in the field.

 

Our experts team accelerates projects using 3 technological tools:

  • Fab Lab for Makers “Do it yourself”
  • Tech Lab for PME/ Corporate “Do it with me”
  • xR Lab (AR, VR, AI and apps tools) for UX centered approach.


We are part of UCLouvain University, so we work close to the research world, both to improve our team expertise and to transpose research results to field reality. This bit is also interesting as we act as an interface between both worlds: Companies and entrepreneurs now have a step in the University door.
With additional funding from EMPOWERHUB REACT EU, OpenHub aims to catalyse the transformation and resilience of local economies through innovation and sustainability. This project supports the development of advanced technological solutions and sustainable employment. It is committed to creating inclusive opportunities and promoting green growth in European communities.
